This week’s memory verse.

He saved us not because of the works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.  Titus 3:5

I would also like to point your attention to another part of the same chapter it is in verse 8

The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

Wow! The bible says  You are to make sure that you devote  yourselves to good works.  Question: What good works are you doing?  Can you make a list, and are you devoted to that list?  Tough question isn’t it?  Does the question put you on the spot?  It should!   Remember,  our default is to be extremely selfish in the way we live out our lives.   Our master, Jesus, came as a servant to all and you should  have the same attitude.   So now you know the word, what are you going to do?  Plan out how you can do good works today!
